About The Artist
Art by: Kim DeMulder
I am a freelance artist currently working out of Massachusetts. I grew up and spent my whole life in Rhode Island, where my interest in art began. I always gravitated towards art growing up and would repeatedly end up doodling random sketches in my notebook instead of taking notes in school. I studied the art of storytelling, graphic art, cartooning, and commercial art taught by professional artists who currently work in the field at the Joe Kubert School for Graphic Art and Cartooning and graduated in 2019.
Since 2020, I have worked with Silverline Comics doing character designs and layouts, along with the pencils and inks for the Silverline Christmas Special 2021 and Issue #1 of Capetown. I have also been working as a Licensed Tattoo Artist since 2021. Some artists that inspire me are Bernie Wrightson, Gene Colan, Graham Ingles, Wally Wood, Eric Powell, Kelly Jones, Al Williamson, Mark Schultz, and Garry Gianni just to name a few. I enjoy working with a wide variety of mediums, both digital and traditional, and I am available to do any type of custom commissions. Some of my skills include:
-
